The Mother Story: Supercharging or Rewriting the Legacy
A Free Enlifted Story Work Workshop
The relationship with 'Mother' is one of the most foundational stories we carry. It shapes how we see ourselves, how we nurture others, and the 'rules' we live by.
Whether your relationship with your mother is your greatest strength, your deepest wound, or somewhere in between, there is a story there. This month, we are opening up the floor to explore every angle of the maternal story.
We will use the Enlifted Method to look at the words passed down through generations and decide which ones are worth keeping and which ones are ready to be rewritten.
Who should come?
This workshop is open to anyone looking to explore the maternal narrative, including:
Daughters and Sons: Looking to process stories about their moms or the 'lessons' their moms taught them.
Mothers: Navigating the pressure, joy, and 'shoulds' of their own motherhood journey.
Grieving Hearts: Those wishing to connect with or write a letter to a mother who has passed.
Legacy Builders: Anyone interested in how the 'voice in their head' often sounds a lot like the voice of their mother.
What is this workshop about?
This is a high-level creative session where you choose your own path. You can choose to:
Audit a 'Momism': Identify a phrase or belief your mother told you that is still running your life (for better or worse).
Write the Unsent Letter: Use a specific Enlifted process to write a letter to your mother or your children to clear the air or express gratitude.
Rewrite the 'Bad Mom' Story: If you are a parent, we will dismantle the 'victim stories' and guilt that often come with motherhood.
Breath for Connection: Use the breath to regulate your nervous system as we navigate these deep, personal narratives.
